The police have not yet made any arrest in connection with an incident in which a seven-year-old boy was allegedly raped by two men at a village in the Oshikoto region last week.
Oshikoto police deputy commissioner Mathew Nakadhilu said on Thursday that no arrests have been made, following the incident at Onaame, a village in the Oshikoto region, on Wednesday last week.
Nakadhilu said it was reported to the police that two suspects attacked the boy and raped him after finding him sitting in the shade of a tree.
“They threatened the victim not to scream or tell anyone. It was only when the victim’s mother noticed her son walking with discomfort and limping that he informed her of the ordeal,” Nakadhilu said.
The police are continuing to investigate the matter.
