Nomzamo Mbatha’s beauty secrets for radiant skin

South African actress Nomzamo Mbatha is considered one of the most beautiful women in Mzansi.

The actress-turned-producer who rose to fame following her role in ‘Isibaya’, portraying the character of Thandeka Zungu-Ndlovu, has made a name for herself in South Africa and Hollywood.

As a humanitarian on the go, she always looks radiant and her supporters have always been curious about how she maintains her beauty.

“Honestly, it’s all about making small habits part of your daily routine. I always make time for a quick skincare routine before bed, even if it’s just a gentle cleanser and moisturiser.

“It doesn’t need to be complicated, just consistent. After a long day of shoots, my skin craves that moment of care,” she said.

Mbatha added that if there’s one step she doesn’t skip in her skincare routine it has to be sunscreen. It doesn’t matter the season; she stays consistent.

“The sun can really dry [my skin] out, so moisturising is key! I love using a good SPF every day, even when I’m indoors.

“Neutrogena’s HydroBoost Hydrating Fluid with SPF 50 is my go-to. It’s lightweight, non-greasy and offers broad-spectrum protection – perfect for hot days.”

While she has a busy schedule, Mbatha always prioritises self-care, which is one of the reasons she stays glowing all year round.

“Self-care is everything! It’s so easy to get caught up in work, but taking time for myself – whether it’s skincare, a long bath or a few quiet moments – helps me recharge. It’s essential for maintaining balance and not burning out.

“Even on my busiest days, I make sure to carve out time for myself, even if it’s just for a few minutes of relaxation.” – IOL Lifestyle
