Now

I love stories from older people.

They give wisdom, they educate and motivate the human soul. My great grandpa Da Katarayo once told me that life is a precious gift which is worth living only now. And I repeat, only now because this is the only moment that you know you’re alive.

This is the only moment that you can act and this is the only moment that can change your life. There’s nothing like acting tomorrow because tomorrow never comes. In fact, it is now that you live with intention, it is now that you live with purpose and it is now that you live with passion.

You have a dream to become a doctor, an engineer or a lawyer etc, you are on the right path. To exercise that dream, it requires that you live a life of action.

Thousands upon thousands of dreams are laid in the graveyard. These are dreams which never existed in the first place. It’s simple because they are never acted, no goals were set and no plans ever existed to bring this dream to pass.

You are here to achieve your dream and it is only you who can do it. Stop procrastinating and start acting. If you are waiting to be ready, apparently no one can be ready to do anything in life, ready doesn’t exist.

You only have now so you must act now. No action means no results. Let your life count because you are the only one responsible for it. Use time wisely and take initiative to make your life worth living.

It’s possible to achieve your dream. Firstly, live by intention. Make plans and act upon them. Be determined and act to help your dream materialise. Secondly, eliminate threats in your life. These include negative people who put you down or live an unhealthy lifestyle. Let that heavy burden go, it doesn’t want you to progress.

Lastly, enjoy the day. You only have now. Stay focused!
