FOUNDING President Sam Nujoma has called on the Namibian nation to maintain the peace and stability that has been prevailing in Namibia for the last 20 years under Swapo rule.
According to Nujoma, this peace and stability can only prevail in Namibia under a Swapo government. It is also the only party that can bring development to Namibia, according to him.’The Swapo Party is the only party in our country that has demonstrated that it has the capacity and competence to implement Vision 2030, has a manifesto based on realistic goals and objectives that will bring about the implementation of all Namibia’s national development plans and programmes,’ he said at a Swapo rally at Outapi on Sunday.He said he cannot understand why people like RDP leaders Hidipo Hamutenya and Jesaya Nyamu want change in Namibia, because Swapo has already built roads, houses, hospitals, schools and railways and has provided water and electricity to Namibians, even those in rural areas.He called on Namibians to respect each other, their elders and traditional leaders, their traditions and cultures.Nujoma will be campaigning in the North for the rest of this week.
