The Okakarara community will celebrate the festive season with a free End of the Year music bash at Tate Sammy’s Beer House No 2 on Saturday.
According to organiser Samuel Petrus, the event, which has become an annual tradition, will feature live music performances and entertainment for all.
“The Namibian Oviritje group Ongoro Nomundu is headlining this year, promising a power-packed show with a mix of old and new hits,” says Petrus.
Other acts include popular Namibian performers Stake Boy Bad Boys, Top Divas and MBM providing a diverse mix of genres.
Petrus says they decided to stage the event to bring community members from nearby towns together to celebrate the year.
“Aside from all of these performances, competitions with prizes will add to the excitement,” says Petrus.
The event starts at 18h00 and runs until late.
