Okalongo businessman resigns from IPC, joins Swapo

Well known Okalongo businessman Josua ‘Ketu’ Mwetupunga has resigned from his position as regional coordinator in the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC).

Mwetupunga confirmed to The Namibian that he resigned from IPC on Wednesday and has rejoined Swapo.

He cited “gossip and dictatorship” as the main reasons for his resignation from the four-year-old political party.

“Most of the decisions in the party are taken by one or two persons,” he said.

IPC spokesperson Imms Nashinge said he was not aware of Mwetupunga’s regination from the party.
