Ondangwa eatery Ruusa’s Kitchen to shut its doors

The restaurant Ruusa’s Kitchen, located at Ondangwa, has announced its permanent closure for sit-in guests.

The restaurant will shut its doors on 20 October.

However, the restaurant’s founder and owner, Ruusa Uugwanga, says the business will still operate from home, offering takeaways and deliveries only.

The restaurant, which opened in 2021, is well-known for its cakes, catering and meal services, as well as cooking and grilling classes.

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce we are permanently closing for sit-ins at Onethindi. We have been honoured to serve the nation for the past years. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for all the loyalty and support over the years,” Uugwanga says.

“Your patronage has been greatly appreciated. We are grateful for the opportunity to have been part of each client’s life by serving great food. We hope to return one day,” Uugwanga says.
