The presiding officer for the Okasheshete polling station at Okatyali in the Oshana region, Saara Ruben, says only four voters participated in the extended election exercise since the polling station opened on Friday.
Ruben said this on Saturday, adding she suspected it was due to Black Friday.
She said more voters may arrive in the afternoon or towards closing time.
Okatyali has six fixed polling stations that would remain open until 21h00 on Saturday.
Ruben on Friday said her polling station was provided with 200 ballot papers on Wednesday.
“It was full on Wednesday, and we ran out of ballot papers. We could not secure more until closing time,” she said.
