Oshakati pleads for fire support

THE Oshakati Town Council has called on residents to support its fire-fighting efforts.Municipal spokesman Lot Nehemia said in a statement yesterday that it was the responsibility of every Oshakati resident to prevent fires at the town.

Nehemia said nobody was allowed to cook on the street, set fire to refuse skips or discard burning cigarette butts.
