Two friends were walking from a petrol station in Windhoek on Saturday when a man allegedly pulled out an axe and demanded cellphones from them, said police spokesperson Elifas Kuwinga in the weekend crime report.
The man was wearing a security guard uniform.
He robbed one complainant of an iPhone valued at N$10 000, while the other person managed to run away, said Kuwinga.
According to Kuwinga, no recovery or arrest has been made yet, the suspect is unknown and police investigations are ongoing.
