PM appoints three new executive directors to key government roles

Prime minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila appointed three executive directors to various government institutions on Monday.

The appointments of Ndiitah Nghipondoka-Robiati, Tuyakula Haipinge and Michael Humavindu follow recommendations by the Public Service Commission.

Nghipondoka-Robiati has been appointed as the executive director of the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare for a fixed term of five years after serving for a year in the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade.

Executive director in the Ministry of Higher Education, Training and Innovation Alfred van Kent has been replaced by Haipinge, who was previously the deputy executive director in the Office of the Prime Minister, where she served for four years.

Trade ministry deputy executive director Humavindu has been appointed as the executive director of the National Planning Commission for a fixed term of five years.
His appointment becomes effective on 1 November.
