The inspector general of the police has called on the regional commanders of regions not yet placed on full lockdown to identify checkpoints in anticipation of a nationwide executive order to be announced soon.
In a letter dated 2 April, the police’s top cop directed regional commanders to provide his office with contingency plans on how to effectively lock down their regions not later than Monday.
