The Namibian police is seeking assistance in tracing two wanted murder suspects.
Police spokesperson Kauna Shikwambi reported that the suspects are Mathew Ikeninge (aka Kambalantu) and Aktofel Likius (aka Sixa) who are wanted in connection with murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances which happened on Monday, at around 23h00 at Katutura central shops.
The suspects attacked a security guard during the robbery, held him at gunpoint, robbed him of his cellphone and then shot him.
The victim was taken to hospital where he succumbed to injuries upon arrival according to Shikwambi.
“Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the two suspects should contact the police at 081 4815755,” she said.
