President Hage Geingob and first lady Monica Geingos today visited various sites where violent crimes took place in Windhoek over the last few weeks.
They started near Unam where student Redney Gariseb was shot and killed on 18 September. They then visited the site where two girls were killed in Khomasdal on Friday.
The president’s party then went for a walkabout at Single Quarters in Katutura.
Earlier today, Geingos tweeted, quot;My heart bleeds for the family. My heart bleeds for our nation. We need healing, quot; in response to The Namibian’s revelation that a teacher was arrested in connection with the murder of the two girls yesterday.
