Project Never Walk Alone is gearing up to host a second ‘Restoration Concert’ ahead of the festive season.
In a statement released yesterday, the non-governmental organisation announced that this year’s concert is slated for 7 December, and will bring together artists from Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Concertgoers can expect to be uplifted by the likes of Zimbabwean gospel group The Unveiled and South African Hlengiwe Mhlaba.
The local line-up will feature gospel artists DEE’A, D-Naff, Clive & The Now Generation, and Collective Singers among others.
Last year, the concert brought internationally celebrated South African choir Joyous Celebration to the stage.
Logistics and events manager Beverley Naris says the concert has no profit-making aim.
“This is a thanksgiving event and our gift to all Namibians, aimed at restoring hope for a better Namibia,” she says.
Tickets range from N$50 for premium admission, while golden circle tickets are N$150.
VIP booths with a capacity of 25 people can be booked for N$30 000 per booth, including meals and drinks.
Individual VIP tickets are going for N$1 200, also including meals and drinks.
Tickets are available at Webtickets at Pick n Pay outlets countrywide.
Like last year, this year’s Restoration Concert will be held at Hage Geingob Stadium in Olympia, Windhoek.
