Rugby World Cup tickets for sale

THE Namibia Rugby Union has invited Namibian rugby fans to purchase tickets for the 2015 Rugby World Cup through its office.

The 2015 Rugby World Cup takes place in the United Kingdom from 18 September to 31 October and Namibia will compete for the fifth successive time.

Namibia’s pool matches are against the world champions New Zealand on 24 September at Olympic Stadium in London; against Tonga on 29 September at Sandy Park in Exeter; against Georgia at Sandy Park on 7 October; and against Argentina at Leicester City Stadium on 11 October.

In an email to the media the NRU said that tickets can be purchased at the official ticketing price, which ranges from 15 Pounds to 715 Pounds for the final.

There are four price range categories as well as children prices for each match.

The ticket prices for Namibia’s matches range from 175 Pounds in Category A for their match against New Zealand, to 15 Pounds in Category D for their matches against Tonga and Georgia.

To acquire tickets one has to send an email to pa@nru.com.na with the following information:

The list of matches and number of tickets required and your postal address and phone number.

The NRU’s next order dates will be on 1 March and 15 April, so members of the public are reminded to email their orders before those dates to ensure that their requests are included.

Once an order has been made, you will receive an email confirming your order and giving you a pro-forma invoice.

Once ticket allocations have been confirmed you will receive an invoice for payment to the NRU. you can make your payment at the NRU office or by EFT, using your invoice number as reference. Final payment should be made no later than 15 May 2015.

Tickets will be issued in July and August and buyers will be contacted by the NRU for collection or delivery once they receive the tickets.
