I AM a concerned student at the Polytechnic of Namibia currently studying a B.Tech Degree in Accounting and Finance.
I have applied for a study loan/grant at the Ministry of Education. I was not successful during the selection process. When I went to see why I had not been selected, they told me that they are only concentrating on science students, which is not fair at all. They told us to write appeal letters, but I wonder if my name will be selected as only one of my parents is working.Even accounting graduates can contribute to society and nation building. All of us cannot simply study science for all of us to be given loans. The Ministry must reconsider this issue.Concerned Student Via e-mailI was not successful during the selection process. The Ministry must reconsider this issue.Concerned Student Via e-mail
