A seventh suspect has been arrested in connection with Matheus Sheehama’s death.

This was confirmed by Erongo police commander commissioner Nikolaus Kapembona.

Sheehama’s body was found at Walvis Bay on Tuesday near the navy base after he went missing.

The latest suspect, Moses Kandume (18), was arrested on Wednesday and appeared in the Walvis Bay Magistrate’s Court on Friday.

He will appear again on 15 October alongside Marvin Wapota, Romano Paulus, Enrico Gomachab, Michael Awaseb and Jimmy Gaeb.

The late Sheehama’s girlfriend, Jessica Gaes, will also appear on the same day.

The suspects are charged with murder, kidnapping, defeating the course of justice, and assault.

Sheehama went missing on 27 July after he was allegedly assaulted at a house during a braai.
