Show at ‘The Catch’ goes on without Nasty C

Even organiser, Shakira, announced this on her Instagram this afternoon, and pointed out that there was no negligence on the part of the sponsors or artists.

As promised, award-winning South African artist Adiomarc and South African singer, songwriter and record producer Tellaman will still be on stage to entertain Namibian fans.

Shakira added that the rest of the Namibian artists, including Don Breezy, Paul da Prince, who is the MC of the event, and Dj Nico will also still be entertaining the guests.

"It is with great regret that we hereby inform Nasty C fans that he will unfortunately not be performing tonight. This unfortunate circumstance is a result of an oversight and miscommunication and finalisation of plans between myself and the team. I sincerely apologise to each and everyone who has supported this event, to all sponsors, namely Jägermeister, Johnny Walker, and The Catch, who came on board, for any inconvenience caused," she said.

On his Instagram, Nasty C urged fans who bought tickets to demand a refund because "I compromised till I couldn't anymore".
