In a celebration of rhythm and blues, ‘Strictly Soul’ drew hundreds of Windhoek music lovers to the Village Garden on Saturday night.

With long queues of eager fans of all ages filling the venue with an electric energy, the Village Garden proved to be the perfect backdrop for the R&B extravaganza.

The event was the second edition of ‘Strictly Soul’ in Namibia and once again it lived up to its reputation.

‘Strictly Soul’ is the heartbeat of Africa’s R&B community, uniting thousands of fans across the continent who share a deep passion for soul, rhythm and blues.

Saturday’s event was masterfully orchestrated by DJ Akio Kawahito, whose skills behind the decks set the perfect mood for the evening. His selection of classic R&B tracks and soulful tunes kept the crowd on their feet, grooving to the beats of their favourite old-school anthems. The love for R&B was visible, with attendees singing along and dancing the night away.

The event was a great success because it brought people together from all walks of life and proved that R&B is still as popular as ever and has the power to unite people.

After the memorable Windhoek event, the celebration continues with exciting line-ups scheduled for Johannesburg on 19 and 23 September and Cape Town on 27 September.
