Stock theft rife in Opuwo district

OPUWO – A 15-year-old youth appeared before Opuwo Magistrate Tomas Kanime last week on charges of stock theft.

The teenager appeared together with 18-year-old Ipinge Erastus on a charge of stealing a goat at Omakange village. Erastus pleaded guilty to the charge, while the boy has to wait for his parents to represent him as he is under-aged.The case was postponed to February 17 to allow the parents of the 15-year-old to appear in court.At least six stock theft cases were on the court roll on Thursday.Lino Dingou prosecuted for the State.- NampaErastus pleaded guilty to the charge, while the boy has to wait for his parents to represent him as he is under-aged.
