Street Legal Halo Helmet Detailed

Nerds and fan boys rejoice. Not only has your studious nature helped you become the corporate jock you’ve always wanted to be, you can now afford to spend a bit more on your geek-cave and all the nerd-vana you want.

Now thanks to the good people at US company, The National Entertainment Collectables Association, you can take your cosplay out on the road as they have just confirmed production of a road legal Master Chief motorcycle helmet.

The Master Chief is iconic for a number of reasons. Without Halo: Combat Evolved, the original Xbox would probably not have enjoyed the success it did and Microsoft wouldn’t be the video game superpower it is today. Each subsequent Halo game only got better and better – Master Chief is now synonymous with arguably some of the best experiences anyone can have playing a game.

Of course, he wouldn’t be nearly as popular without a slick wardrobe, and the Mjolnir armor is just as iconic as the Chief himself. The green-and-gold helmet is a symbol for the series, and the Chief’s visage even dominated the majority of the Master Chief collection’s box art.

For most people, buying a motorcycle helmet is something that only happens when buying an actual motorcycle. For Halo fans, the motorcycle itself no longer matters.

It’s an incredibly detailed recreation of the helmet seen in-game, and the version pictured above isn’t even the final version, so we can expect an even more detailed version at the launch.

You’ll have to hang in there for a while longer to get your hands on a Halo helmet, as it is set to be released around July 2015.
