Man stabbed at Walvis Bay

The police at Walvis Bay need the public’s assistance to trace a suspect that allegedly stabbed a man at Kuisebmond on Sunday.

According to Erongo police spokesperson warrant officer Tuyenikelao Tashiya, a 28-year-old man was attacked with a sharp object, believed to be a knife or a broken bottle, by an unknown person.

“The victim sustained open wounds on his right shoulder and right upper ribs… Police attended to the scene, and the victim was taken to the hospital. His condition is stable but critical,” said Tashiya.

The incident occurred at about 01h30 at the intersection of Pluto and Kabeljou streets.
