Survey to assess NSC on

Survey to assess NSC on

THE Namibia Sports Commission started conducting a survey this week to establish how sport codes perceive the institution.

NSC Chief Administrator Rusten Mogane said the idea behind the customer service survey was to establish the exact requirements demanded by the various sports codes and their perception of the NSC as an umbrella body of all sports codes in the country. Mogane said the Customer Care Assessment, to be conducted by Executive Options International, was needed to evaluate the current service levels. On Monday this week, interviewers went to the Erongo region and the central northern regions to have one-on-one interviews with persons nominated by each code, as well as other stakeholders in sport, including sponsors and the media. The survey is expected to be concluded by the beginning of August. The report that will be presented to the NSC will include recommendations on how to capitalise on suggestions made by the sports codes, said Mogane.Meanwhile, Mogane emphasised that the Namibia Sports Act is being implemented strictly from July 1.He reminded codes that they should adhere to the Sports Act, otherwise they would not get any assistance from the NSC.Mogane was earlier this year appointed as the administrative head of the NSC, and has vowed to bring changes among the various codes in accordance with the Namibian Sport Act.- NampaMogane said the Customer Care Assessment, to be conducted by Executive Options International, was needed to evaluate the current service levels. On Monday this week, interviewers went to the Erongo region and the central northern regions to have one-on-one interviews with persons nominated by each code, as well as other stakeholders in sport, including sponsors and the media. The survey is expected to be concluded by the beginning of August. The report that will be presented to the NSC will include recommendations on how to capitalise on suggestions made by the sports codes, said Mogane.Meanwhile, Mogane emphasised that the Namibia Sports Act is being implemented strictly from July 1.He reminded codes that they should adhere to the Sports Act, otherwise they would not get any assistance from the NSC.Mogane was earlier this year appointed as the administrative head of the NSC, and has vowed to bring changes among the various codes in accordance with the Namibian Sport Act.- Nampa
