SYL on ‘Superficial Ranting’

THE Swapo Party Youth League has the right to defend the President of the Swapo Party and of the Republic of Namibia any time of the day or night.

The letter from a certain N. Nakandunga published with pleasure by Gwen Lister is therefore a superficial ranting. Comrade Paulus I. Kapia is a member of the Central Committee of the Swapo Party and an elected Secretary for Swapo Party Youth League, a transmitting belt of the Swapo Party ideology, policies and programmes.As such comrade Kapia is accountable to the comrades that elected him to power not to any other evil forces such as N Nakandunga and others.Mr Nakandunga, if at all you exist, you must remember that Kapia is the spokesperson of that wing and not you, and he speaks on behalf Swapo Party Youth League.If however this ghost called N Nakandunga is claiming to speak from the Swapo Party Youth League here in Ondangwa, we want to know his membership card no and his real name, at which level he is in Swapo and what is his branch name.The Constitution of the Swapo Party and of the Swapo Party Youth League guarantees your freedom of speech so why hide under the umbrella of Gwen Lister? We also want Nored to come clean on its relationship with N Nakandunga as this ghost claims to defend Nored’s power failure.The 1999 Swapo Party Election Manifesto has not expired yet and called for tested and loyal cadres to be appointed in strategic positions.As such if Nored management and N Nakandunga were loyal cadres of the Swapo Party as they claim, we would have expected that they would work very hard to rescue the situation but it took four hours to reinstall the electricity.The reason Nored gives is that there was a big tree which caused a power failure.Did it need to take four hours to remove the tree or was there a big wind which caused the tree to collapse and why did NBC not cover that tree? All these excuses are not true, the power failure is a clear sabotage aimed at comrade President Nujoma.After all, they used to write such letters from Nored and with its fax no. to insult President Sam Nujoma saying he must die soon so that they can urinate on his grave.If Nored Management could do that what would prevent them from sabotaging the President this time around?If these people do not respect Comrade Nujoma they must rest assured that we do and we are prepared to pay with our blood to defend him against anyone trying to disrespect him or threaten his life!This message must be loud and clear to anyone with imperialistic and tribalist agendas!The letter of that ghost Nakandunga said Comrade President Sam Nujoma went through difficult times during the liberation struggle, but such a sentiment was not genuine from the writer’s point of view, it was just meant to mislead the readers.We however know that some people in this country including those in Nored have shown their true colors and wish him to die so that they can urinate on his grave and called him a lame duck, how can these same people all of a sudden pretend to care about President Sam Nujoma?For as long as we are alive, SPYL will continue to condemn whoever tries to insult or sabotage the President of Swapo Party and of the Republic of Namibia, Comrade Sam Nujoma.He is our hero and a leader and we will respect him at any level and at all times come hell or high water! Take note of this N Nakandunga and your cohorts!Your threats against Comrade Kapia with cooked stories will never silence the Swapo Party Youth League.It is obvious that Nakandunga and cohorts are only concerned with causing division in Swapo party and destabilize the peace and stability in this country just because your political ambitions were not met.Just remember that the peace we enjoy in this country has cost us heroes and heroines and Comrade Sam Nujoma has sacrificed his youthful life to liberate this country and therefore after independence he deserved to be treated well and with respect.He suffered already and yet there are those who want him to continue to suffer, they are doing serious insult to our leader, Comrade Presindent Sam Nujoma.Comrades in Swapo Party you must safeguard against this infiltration – today they are attacking Kapia and tomorrow it is you.We are united in Swapo Party and we must continue remain united!
