Tender boys must sit down – Venaani

Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) president McHenry Venaani has criticised business people from the Omusati region who flaunt their wealth but don’t complete government contracts awarded to them.

Venaani said this at a PDM campaign rally at Outapi on Saturday. He said when Swapo held a rally at Outapi recently, some business people were more interested in showing off their big cars, trucks and bulldozers, while 1,3 million people are going hungry.

“They are the ones that are not completing projects. All projects are half built. Yes, you are celebrating Swapo because you are benefiting from tenders, while the majority of people in the country have nothing to eat at home.

“The tender boys and Land Cruiser boys of the Omusati region must sit down. We want change for the majority of our people, who are suffering. That’s what Venaani came here to say. Go tell them,” Venaani said.
