Namibia’s music landscape is set to experience a groundbreaking shift with the introduction of The Music Lifestyle (TML) Records.
Born out of the shared vision of young individuals who are passionate music enthusiasts, the label aims to prioritise artistic freedom, foster genuine connections and embrace the various dimensions of music.
TML Records says it is a tight-knit community that is dedicated to empowering artists on their journey to musical greatness.
At the helm is Patrick Cino West, a fervent advocate for the transformative power of music.
West, the founder and manager of TML Records, says: “Music has the power to transcend barriers and touch the deepest corners of our souls. With TML we are creating a platform where artists can freely express themselves and connect with audiences on a profound level.”
Assisting West in managing the label’s talent are Pandu The Hustla and Jungle Laitie.
Together they say they work tirelessly to support a diverse roster of artists.
The label boasts a line-up of new artists, including El Bravo, Diana, Payo 7O7, Ray and The Major Twins DJs.
“We want TML to be more than just a label, we want it to be a family,” West says.
“With the assistance of Pandu The Hustla and Jungle Laitie we are cultivating an environment in which artists can thrive creatively, feel supported and forge meaningful connections with their fans.”
The label’s artist-centric approach extends to offering tailored support systems encompassing marketing, promotion and career development, TML says.
This holistic approach ensures that artists can focus solely on honing their craft and sharing their authentic stories with the world, West says.
“We believe music is not just about creating songs, it’s about storytelling,” he says.
“Our team of dedicated music enthusiasts, digital marketers and social media gurus is committed to amplifying our artists’ voices and connecting them with audiences worldwide.”
TML aims to showcase a diverse and eclectic portfolio of artists, representing various musical genres and cultures, West says.
The company says it is preparing to drop debut singles for all its artists.
