Tsumeb’s Kasi Party volume 2 coming soon

SINCE the start of Kasi Party last year, founder Sackey Nicanor says it is in high demand.

Nicanor, better known as DJ Sackaman, said the aim is to uplift Tsumeb’s small and medium entrepreneurs who have the opportunity to exhibit their products ranging from food, fashion, refreshments and more at the event.

“All business people are welcome to market and promote the services that they offer.

“This event does not support any political organisation, any tribe or religion, nor is it affiliated to any business organisation. It is a youth initiative managed by me. Therefore all races are welcome.”

This year Kasi Party will take place from 10 to 11 April at the Oshikoto Mareola Rest Camp (Old Tsumeb Rugby field).

“The event is for all the people in Tsumeb, who want to make ends meet for themselves by showcasing their talents and skills. To create self-sustainable projects for themselves, despite the socio-economic state in our country.

“I want to urge the youth in our town to establish comradeship toward each other with respect and love,” Nicanor said.

He said he aims to promote Tsumeb’s moral values and attract various investors.

“I am trying to create a platform for the public to support and work hand-in-hand with the business community in Tsumeb. People must support each other. People from across the world are welcome to come and see the potential of the town and its growth. As a town with diverse cultures, coming together and uniting is an important factor.”

Nicanor thanked all the exhibitors who’ve already applied to take part and urged those who are interested to start preparing in advance.

“Let’s all come together and have fun. Let’s put Tsumeb on top of the map and let everyone know that Tsumeb is indeed the place to be.”
