Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) president McHenry Venaani on Sunday said his party has experience in holding the government accountable.
“There is no other political party in Namibia that has the legislative record, experience, maturity, and holding the government to account,” he said.
Venaani spoke to the media in Windhoek ahead of Wednesday’s elections.
He wants Namibians to vote for his party “that will be able to form its own government because it has experience”.
Venaani said if young people want to change the status quo and their socio-economic circumstances, they need to vote for change.
“The party that has MPs that went to prison because of youth unemployment, the party that has held the government to account, the party that is pushing the youth agenda, our representation, our diverse representation in parliament, no young person should walk away from PDM members of parliament that have done so well,” he said.
