Veteran journalist Poolman dies

ONE of Namibia’s veteran political writers, Jan Poolman has died.

Poolman (61) died last night in Windhoek.

He was a former editor at the Republikein and Namibian Sun, and also worked for NBC, Tempo, New Era, The Namibian and by the time of his death was employed as a deputy head of Informante.

Poolman is survived by his wife Ronel and children Francois, Mario and Nadia.
