Vivo Energy announces Shell fuel card competition winner

Archie Shipanga from Space Dimensions, Ilke Platt, Selma Kamanya and the managing director of Vivo Energy Namibia, Edward Walugembe.

Uatjizaiye Mujoro from Windhoek was this month’s winner of Vivo Energy Namibia’s Shell card competition.

The “A love that outlasts Valentine’s Day” campaign line aims to raise awareness on the advantages of the Shell card.

Those who signed up during the promotion period were automatically entered into a draw for one of 14 getaways to Namibian resorts, as well as the grand prize weekend getaway in Cape Town.

Mujoro’s big prize includes travel for two to 14 resorts in Namibia and a weekend in Cape Town, South Africa.

With the Shell fuel card, companies can buy fuel and other lubricants at certain Shell service stations around the country.

The campaign’s brand ambassador, former Miss Namibia Selma Kamanya, says they had activation across all regions at various chosen sites, instructional encounters with clients for sign-ups and in-depth discussions of the advantages of the cards.

When used at Shell service stations, the Shell cards’ benefits are free. “All the money that you would have loaded on the card to use for petrol, diesel, or lubricant can be used without incurring any additional costs,” says Kamanya.

“We want to make sure that customers are aware that the Shell card may be present for any occasion and that anyone can sign up for it at any moment without paying anything and enjoy its benefits,” adds Kamanya.
