What Africa do we Want?

THE AFRICA we want is one that is free from corruption, with emancipation of women, free from Chinese domination, free from hunger, child labour, child abduction, exploitation and an Africa that produces its own food through better project implementation on our vast fertile land.

We want an Africa with sound and good policies that protect integrity and support free trade and movement.

Africa is potentially the richest continent with the most natural resources, but because we are managed and led by self-enriching leaders and their cabinets, we have become a continent swimming in debt, poverty and unexplained mass unemployment.

We need infrastructural and technological skills that will see us becoming an epitome of elegance and good governance.

In Africa food insecurity and hunger are caused by many factors. Why can’t our leaders improve these situations since we are the major exporters of sugar, wool, diamonds and many other products in this world?

Scholars are brain washed to turn a blind eye on society they were supposed to help develop and. Instead, they lie about the reality of our situations.

Politicians give best speeches about development but there is zero practice of what they preach. They incite hate and discrimination before elections, as well as promise their loyal followers the best living conditions, only to dump them like hot potatoes after the vote.

Our leaders are fighting for power and that they later fight among themselves kills and keeps African politics a bore.

The law courts are politically influenced though we are told the judiciary is independent. What we put out there is what the world will see and make of us.
