•SOPHIE TENDANEA MASSIVE cold front is expected to move over southern Africa next week with widespread snowfall possible in South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini and Namibia.
Snow Report South Africa reported that from mid-week, snowfall is expected in the Western Cape, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, Free State, Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga provinces of South Africa as well as in Namibia, Lesotho and Eswatini.
In Namibia, Ariamsvlei, Karasburg, Aus, Keetmanshoop and Mariental in the southern part of the country are among areas that can expect snowfall between Thursday, (26 August) and Sunday (29 August).
